Nikolaus Paryla is an Austrian actor and stage director. In 1961 he received his first engagement at the Wiener Volkstheater as Moritz Stiefel in Frank Wedekind’s Spring Awakening (Frühlings Erwachen), directed by Gustav Manker, after which he was engaged until 1969 at the Theater in der Josefstadt. Between 1970 and 1971 Paryla belonged to the ensemble of the Berlin Schiller Theater, after which he stood until 1986 on the stage of the Munich Residenz Theatre.
Maurizio Viroli is Professor Emeritus of Politics at Princeton University, Professor of Government at the University of Texas and Professor of Political Communication at the University of Italian Switzerland. He has served as an advisor on cultural activities to the President of the Italian Republic during the presidency of Carlo Azeglio Ciampi (1999-2006). He has been consultant of ANCI (National Association of Italian Municipalities). On May 30, 2001, he was appointed Ufficiale dell’Ordine al Merito of the Italian Republic.
Aleks Krotoski is a Polish-American broadcaster and journalist, currently based in the UK, who writes about technology and interactivity. She presents The Guardian podcast Tech Weekly and contributes to guardian.co.uk. She formerly wrote a print column for The Guardian’s now defunct Technology section. Since 2011, she has presented the BBC Radio 4 series Digital Human, which examines the relationship between human behaviour and the use of the World Wide Web.

Rick Hoffman is an American actor. He is best known for portraying Patrick Van Dorn in Jake in Progress and Louis Litt in the legal drama series Suits. In 1999, Andy Serkis landed the prize role of “Gollum” in Peter Jackson’s epic film trilogy based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s saga, “The Lord of the Rings”. He spent four years in the part and received awards and nominations for his performance as “Gollum”, a computer-generated character in The Lord of The Rings, which won 11 Oscars. “Gollum” was the collaborative team’s effort around Serkis’s work in performance capture – an art form based on CGI-assisted acting.
